#10, Sleep Cycle: Surprisingly, vampires are nocturnal

If I wished to be an asshole (that's a funny joke, Goratrix, many think that you're
always an asshole), I could just stop with the title. However, I think that I can elaborate a little and write a more interesting answer to this prompt. I need the practice at shorter responses, anyway.
Of course, as a vampire, I was strictly nocturnal. Sunlight does not play nicely with vampires, and my Beast--the manifestation of my will to live--got very tired during daylight hours, even when inside or underground. I bemoaned my loss of half of the hours of the day/night cycle, of course. As a living Mage, I tended to get 6-7 hours of sleep per night, so being forced to get closer to 12 was quite a shock. While I was a Mage, I tended towards being a night owl to some extent, anyway--I could be found in the afternoons, evenings, and well into the night, going to bed in the hours before dawn and sleeping until just before noon. It drove Tremere quite crazy, as he preferred to wake with the sun... and Etrius always accused me of being lazy and sleeping in, but he averaged more hours of sleep per night than I did, so I will leave you to draw your own conclusions on that.
Poor Tremere and his love of the mornings. Vampirism quite broke him, I'm afraid, but that is a story for another post.
